Norma Jeane Baker (later known as Marilyn Monroe) was first spotted by photographed David Conover while she was working in a radio plane factory in Van Nuys, California at age 19, on June 26, 1945. It was from these first initial photographs that her modeling career began, which lead to her acting career.
